Victory Antimony Project
Advancing Critical Antimony Exploration in British Columbia
Project Summary
The Victory Antimony Project is a 100%-owned property located on the west side of Graham Island in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, approximately 2.5 kilometers north of Armory Mining’s Riley Creek Antimony Property. The project area has recently been expanded to 1,387 hectares due to favorable geological indicators.

Geological Highlights
- Discovery History: In 1988, Newmont Exploration of Canada identified an antimony occurrence along a newly constructed logging road. A 1989 assessment report documented a chip sample from mineralized boulders assaying 11.8% arsenic, 1.24% antimony, and 0.136% mercury. The mineralization, primarily composed of approximately 5% stibnite (antimony sulfide), was exposed over a width of 2.5 to 3 meters and a length of 10 to 12 meters.
- Geological Setting: The occurrence is classified as a hydrothermal hot spring deposit within the Middle Jurassic Yakoun Group, characterized by pyroclastic andesites, volcanic sediments, and argillites. This geological setting is similar to that of nearby antimony showings, such as those reported by Armory Mining Corp. at their Riley Creek Project.

Strategic Importance of Antimony
Antimony is a critical mineral with applications in flame retardants, lead acid batteries, ammunition, and semiconductors. It also holds strategic importance in defense and energy storage technologies. The global antimony market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.5% from 2023 to 2030, driven by increasing demand in renewable energy storage and military applications.
China currently dominates global antimony production, accounting for over 70% of the supply, which poses significant supply chain risks. In December 2024, China banned exports of antimony to the United States, citing its dual military and civilian uses, further exacerbating supply chain concerns. Recognizing the strategic importance of antimony, the U.S. Department of Defense has designated it as a critical mineral essential to national security. Consequently, governments are prioritizing domestic production to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Antimony has also been listed as a critical mineral in Canada for a significant period, underscoring the importance of projects like the Victory Antimony Project in bolstering North American supply.

Exploration Strategy
Durango Resources Inc. is committed to advancing the Victory Antimony Project through systematic exploration, including detailed geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and geophysical surveys, to delineate drill targets and assess the project’s full potential. The company’s strategy aligns with its broader objective to explore and develop critical metal resources within Canada, contributing to a more secure and self sufficient supply chain for these essential materials.
