The project is hosted in syenite pegmatite rocks within the Grenville Province, a globally recognized REE hotspot. In 2010, Quest Rare Minerals conducted a pivotal mapping and sampling program, collecting 12 rock outcrop samples. These revealed anomalous levels of barium, beryllium, fluorine, gallium, niobium, lead, rubidium, tantalum, thorium, uranium, zinc, and zirconium, plus notable REEs. This early work sets the stage for modern exploration to unlock the project’s full potential.
